Training in Quantum Materials Multiscale Assembly via Low-cost Low-carbon
Footprint Processes (QuantM-MALL)
About us
With the arrival of quantum technology, the speed of information transport, storage, management, and access is set to rise dramatically. Quantum materials (QMs) are crucial for both current technologies and the creation of innovative new ones. QuantM-MALL's mission is to offer cutting-edge, multidisciplinary education and training in this exciting field.
Training Program
QuantM-MALL
mission is to provide a unique multidisciplinary education and training
necessary for the molding of a quantum-ready skilled workforce. This workforce
will be equipped with the depth of specialization and the general knowledge in
QMs research and applications needed to bridge the enormous gap in the Canadian
and global QMs and their technology markets.
QDs
have been used to improve or generate new catalytic pathways in semiconductor
photocatalysis. In addition to its great potential in electrochemical technologies
Quantum Magnetic Materials
The
energy needs of the digital economy are growing exponentially and account for
more than 10% of global electricity usage. Single-molecule magnets
(SMMs) offer a promising solution.
Electronic and Photonic QMS and Devices
Pioneering next-gen technologies for transformative applications from sensors to optical communications.
Enviromental Impacts of Nano and QMS
In
modern civilizations, developing policies that impact the environment and human
health requires scientific studies that provide a complete understanding of the
variables that define and affect human life.
Interdisciplinary Research
The transformative co-supervision methodology, partnerships and
internships, adopted in the QuantM-MALL program will provide trainees with valuable exposure to
multidisciplinary work.
